Raw Vegan Macaroons

I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with a stronger sweet tooth then myself. These cravings alone made the health switch oh so bitter, especially when I received those Lindt milk chocolate balls for Easter! Naturally, I went on a search for some gluten free, and vegan options that would satisfy these ever reoccurring cravings. I found this amazing recipe for Raw Vegan Chocolate Macaroons, they are DELISH… guilt free, and take only a few minutes to make.

I’m definitely going to spend some time experimenting with other flavours… Raspberry, orange, hazelnut? The options are endless!

RAW VEGAN MACAROONS

  • 1.5 cups of organic shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cup organic maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 3/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds (optional)
Combine all ingredients together and mix well.
The consistency should be thick enough to be able to roll a ball that stays together.
Form little balls and place in the fridge for a few hours or until they harden.
